Across Wisconsin, people are coming together to call on the Wisconsin legislature to fulfill its constitutional obligation to properly fund public schools. One way that communities are making their voices heard is by passing resolutions at the school board or local government level that proactively supports Wisconsin PTA et. al. v. Wisconsin State Assembly, the lawsuit driving this movement.

So far, these communities have passed resolutions:

• Milwaukee Board of School Directors – February 2026

• Madison Metropolitan School District – July 2026
