About the Coalition

Fund Wisconsin Public Schools is a broad-based coalition made up of supporters from across the state. Our mission is to share the story of why the state must finally meet its responsibility and properly fund public schools.

The coalition launched in support of a 2026 lawsuit filed against the Wisconsin State Legislature for failing to fund public schools.

This coalition will drive awareness of why funding matters, foster a supportive environment where natural allies of public education can work together to defend and strengthen Wisconsin’s schools, and compel the Wisconsin legislature to fix the problem.
